Who we are and what we do
The STMS Mountain Bike Team Sonoran Trails Middle School and associated with Cactus Shadows Mountain Bike Team competes in the Arizona Cycling Association (ACA), the largest middle and high school mountain bike league in Arizona. Riders develop fitness, bike handling skills, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors while competing on iconic Sonoran Desert trails.
Fill Out Registration
Complete the online registration form with parent/guardian info.
ACA Membership
Register on the Arizona Cycling platform.
Gear Check
Ensure your bike and helmet meet ACA safety requirements.
Attend Practice
Show up to our weekly practices and get ready to race!
Arizona Cycling Association (ACA) membership is required for all student athletes and volunteer coaches.
- 💳 Membership Fee: $125 paid directly to ACA
- 🆓 Try It Out: Free one-time registration available
- 🤝 Financial Assistance: Available through ACA for those who need it
Riders can race some, all, or none of the four series races held September–October. Student athletes who qualify may compete at the ACA State Championships in November.
Fees Paid Directly to ACA
- 📦 Series Package: $200
- 🏁 Individual Race: $60
- ⚠️ Additional fee applies for day-of registration
