Students must attend Sonoran Trails Middle School (STMS) or be homeschooled within our team area to register with the STMS Mountain Bike Team and associated Cactus Shadows Mountain Bike Team. A parent or guardian must complete this form. All riders also need to register on the ACA platform.

Sign-up with Team

Student Athletes: Team dues of $325 cover race kit, practice jersey, sport bottle, team t-shirt, race food, and team equipment upkeep.

Volunteer Coaches: Team dues of $100 cover coach jersey and team.

ACA Registration

Pay Team Fees

Team fees help cover coaching, jerseys, and race entry. Scholarships available — contact the team manager.

Attend Orientation

New riders attend a mandatory orientation before their first practice.

📱 TeamSnap Communications

After ACA registration and team sign-up have been completed, student athletes and volunteer coaches will be added to our TeamSnap group. This is where all team communication takes place and emergency contact information is stored.

Please ensure that the information profile for your rider is complete and kept up to date. If you are having trouble with TeamSnap, contact Coach Jason to get help making updates.

🗓️ Practices & Racing

Team practices are in the evening Tuesday, Thursday and in the morning Saturday. Attending practices is flexible, as schoolwork always comes first. Racing is optional and consists of 4 regular season races and a 5th Championship race, for those that qualify. These are held around the beautiful, diverse state of Arizona.
