The preseason runs April 1 β May 31. The maximum number of preseason activities teams may conduct has been increased from 6 to 8. The regular season begins June 1.
We compete as part of the North Conference in the Arizona Cycling Association (ACA) middle school league.
Race venues span Northern and Central Arizona. Plan to arrive at least 60 minutes before your start time for check-in and warm-up.

* Staging time is when riders should be lined up at the start. Be at staging before your staging time β the race will not wait.
π’ Race Number Plates
All student-athletes will receive a race number plate and riders will use the same plate for the entire race series. Number plates have chip timing transponders on the backside β exercise care to avoid damage.
Please remove the number plate from the bike and return it to the head coach before loading for transport to prevent damage or loss.
Replacement number plates will be available at the registration tent for $25.
π΅ Pre-Ride
The course will be open for pre-ride to all registered student-athletes and licensed coaches on the following schedule:
- Friday, 12:00 p.m. β sunset β Open to all registered student-athletes and licensed coaches
- Saturday, ~3:00 p.m. β sunset β Open following the conclusion of racing
From 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the course is open to the following groups only:
- High school female student-athletes
- Middle school student-athletes (female and male)
- Their licensed coaches
High school boys are not allowed on the course during this period.

πͺ Helmet
CPSC, ASTM, or EN-1078 certified mountain bike helmet required. No road helmets.
π§€ Gloves
Full-finger gloves required for all race categories to protect hands during falls.
π² Bike Check
Working brakes, no loose parts. Bikes will be inspected at check-in. Bring your own tools.
